The PVCF approach to collaborative land access advocacy continues to make waves in conservation agriculture. Colorado Open Lands is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Colorado’s lands and waters (2022). The conservation non-profit catalogues over 700 unique projects across the state, celebrating each for their innovation, leadership, and resourcefulness. CO Open Lands recognizes Poudre Valley Community Farm as a stand-out example of grassroots collaboration. As soon as 2024, PVCF and CO Open Lands will collaborate on fundraising and land/water access projects to support the future of food production and food systems stability in Northern Colorado.
